Many lawyers come to therapy because the demands of practice - pressure, long hours, high stakes and repeated exposure to distressing material - begin to take a cumulative toll. Sessions can be long-term and explorative or short-term and more focused, depending on what you need.
I help lawyers reflect on burnout, stress, anxiety, low mood, vicarious trauma, identity and relationship dynamics, as well as the pull towards perfectionism and self-criticism that can be common in the profession. My integrative approach supports insight into how these pressures affect you and offers space to consider change in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

Executive coaching gives you protected time to step back from the pace of practice and think about where you are and where you want to be. It can be helpful when navigating confidence issues, leadership responsibilities, role transitions, returning from maternity leave or managing difficult working relationships. Coaching may also support you if you’re questioning your direction or wanting to think creatively about the next phase of your career.
Drawing on psychological insight and coaching methods, I help lawyers clarify what matters, understand the pressures shaping their work and identify practical, realistic next steps. The focus is on increasing insight, confidence and agency.

I design and deliver research-informed training for chambers, firms and in-house teams. My sessions focus on topics that are relevant to legal life, including resilience, professional identity, imposter syndrome, vicarious trauma, emotional labour, burnout, early warning signs and sustainable working. Training combines psychological theory with practical tools and creates space for reflection and honest conversation.
Sessions can be delivered as lunchtime talks, longer workshops or as part of wider wellbeing and professional development programmes.
